The theme is: The Character of a Godly Princess
Level 1 can be used with girls completing the first grade and up.
The first level of Sonflower Girls is very “princess-y” and it is the time to play up crowns, boas, jewels and the like with the girls! A perfect theme for the girls’ ages, as well as getting across the point that they are LOVED princesses of the Lord. This level’s focus is on just that: who they are in Christ. This is the most important message they will come to understand and own in their lives and is the foundation from which all things are based, decided, felt, and experienced.
So, if they are princesses of God, what would their CHARACTERS be like? That is the theme of the year, with a special emphasis on friendship training. A loyal friend, kind servant, loving neighbor, and generous steward are some of the lesson themes based on the Proverbs 31 example provided for us in the Bible, A highlight of the level is the lesson about Confident Beauty brought to life through a SPA DAY!! Together, Sonflower Girls Level 1 will make an impact on your daughter and how she feels about herself and how she sees a Godly girl.
Each lesson has a different woman of the Bible that profiled, as well as a craft, to support the lesson’s theme. Workbook pages teach a character quality and gives an Emotional Journal prompt. An additional project in Level 1 is sewing a pillow with a pocket that will hold a letter from friends, a love letter from mom or mentor, and pictures from their time together… another treasured keepsake reminding them of the journey they are on and how special they are!
