The theme is: Experiencing God on a Global Level
Level 4 builds on Level 3’s theme. Instead of looking at God Encounters on a personal level, we will now explore them on a GLOBAL level!
Missionaries Galore!! Each girl will read a missionary biography to hear about their walk from beginning to end. During lesson time, the world will literally be coming to your group as a missionary will visit to speak with the girls each time. The emphasis is on how much God was developing skills, desires of the heart, and pathways so purposefully in the lives of the missionaries that visit or are read about AT YOUR GIRL’S AGE NOW! They should start to develop the talents God has blessed them with, listen for God’s voice and leading, and talk to Jesus about what special thing He has for them to do–right now! Craft time allowed the girls to assemble packages for children their age for Operation Shoebox or as a package to send with one of the missionary guest speakers on their journey to the mission field!
Our girls were so blessed to be able to send care packages to Africa to a girls’ orphanage with one of our speakers. Each of our Sonflower Girls wrote a personal note to girl around the world. The girls of Africa sent this Thank You back to our girls in America.
