This is a great level for girls just leaving kindergarten or first grade.
The theme is: Gifts from a King
This level of Sonflower Girls is very “princess-y” and it is the time to dress up in dresses, crowns, boas, jewels and the like with the girls! A perfect theme for the girls’ ages, as well as getting across the point that they are LOVED daughters of the King!
God’s first gift to us was His great Love. He went on to give us treasures of His Word, prayer, and family. But He didn’t stop there: He gave us each the gift of our own uniqueness, beauty perfectly created by God, and a purpose.
FlowerBud lessons will help girls understand just how much God loves us, richly blesses us, and is involved in our lives. This year involves making tasty princess treats for tea as well as the creation of their own mural, highlighting the blessings God has already gifted to them specifically. It is a wonderful keepsake they will cherish for years! Each lesson has a different Berenstain Bear book to compliment the lesson as well as a suggested Christian storybook. Workbook pages allow the girls to draw an aspect of God’s love as well as prompts sweet connections with Mom, or a mentor, with scripture and questions.
This is such a sweet introduction to the Sonflower Girls curriculum as well as groups of girls gathering for the purpose of learning about God. This is the start of a wonderful group that can encourage and challenge each other to grow in their faith walk…and all while dressed in princess dresses? What could be better??!! (Your girl will tell you nothing!)
